What Lies Beneath…?

By Nolan McGrane-Moffitt (Haverford, PA)

There are elves, wizards, and faeries, and mushrooms too; there are jewels, rocks, and the rocks have jewels on them.  The rocks only come out when they have to get decorated. The faeries plant campfires from seeds. The faeries do all the work. There are leprechauns who always sneak out with the elves. They get caught in traps, but they jump and get out. There are rockets for the gnomes to fly. They fly to outer space. They spend their day in the sun; and at nighttime their beds are made out of straw.

The End.

The Grumpy Old Troll

By Matt Ford (Schwenksville, PA)

Once upon a time there was a grumpy old troll and the troll lived behind 2 doors that led under ground.  In the daytime the troll went under a bridge and one day a duck came by the bridge and asked the troll “can I cross this bridge” and the troll said “yes.”  So the duck crossed the bridge and the next day a cow came by the bridge and asked the troll if he could cross. The troll said “no.”  But the cow crossed anyway.  But then the troll ate the cow.  The next day the duck came by the bridge and asked the troll if he could cross the bridge and the troll said “no.”  So the duck ate the troll.  Then the duck said “But dude, she’s a girl!”  The End.
